ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಚಾಲಿತ ವಾಹನಗಳು (Electric Vehicles – EVs) ಮುಂದಿನ ತಲೆಮಾರಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತವಾದ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ಸಾರಿಗಾ ವಿಧಾನವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇವು ಪರಿಸರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇಂಧನದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಅವಲಂಬನೆ ಕಡಿಮೆಮಾಡಲು ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ. ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಿಕ್ ವಾಹನಗಳ ಬಳಕೆ ದಿನದಿಂದ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ಲೇಖನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಿಕ್ ಕಾರುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಆಟೋಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆಯೋಣ.

ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಿಕ್ ಕಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವಾರು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನಗಳ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆ ಇದೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಭಾಗಗಳು:

FAME ಎಂದರೆ Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles in India. ಇದು 2015ರಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಂಭವಾದ ಯೋಜನೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರ FAME II ಹಂತ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ (2019ರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭ).
FAME-II ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಬ್ಸಿಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವುದು ಬಹಳ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿದೆ:
ಅಧಿಕೃತ EV ಡೀಲರ್ನಿಂದ ವಾಹನ ಖರೀದಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
ಡೀಲರ್ನಿಂದಲೇ ಸಬ್ಸಿಡಿ ಕಡಿತಗೊಂಡ ಬೆಲೆಗೆ ವಾಹನ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ವಾಹನದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರಗಳು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪೋರ್ಟಲ್ಗೆ ಅಪ್ಲೋಡ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಖರೀದಿದಾರರಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.

NBFC ಮತ್ತು Microfinance ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ಆಟೋ ಚಾಲಕರಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಾಲ ಪ್ಯಾಕೇಜ್ಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿವೆ.
ಬ್ಯಾಂಕುಗಳು EV ಗಳಿಗೆ “priority sector lending” ಉದ್ದೇಶದಡಿ ಪಾವತಿಸಬಲ್ಲವು.
